Job Summary/Basic Functions
Content strategists are responsible for implementing a plan for creating, publishing, and managing the content of university websites. They work closely with other members of the CBM team and across campus, including designers, developers, and marketing specialists, to ensure that the website's content meets the needs of its target audience and aligns with the overall goals of the organization.

Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: 1 year of work experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with some or all of the following are preferred but not required: Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Google Analytics, YOAST SEO, Asana, website content management system (WordPress preferred), Email, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEO tools, web accessibility tools, Zoom or other online meeting tools. Education may substitute for experience, but experience may not substitute for education.
Job Duties:
- 50% - Write, edit, and ensure websites' content operate in the most optimized CMS. Work to ensure web content is up-to-date and accurate in alignment with the university's branding and messaging. - (Essential)
- 30% - Identifies opportunities for improvement, develops efficient processes to address University needs, including the training of campus web content strategists. Assesses related website software & plugins according to needs, assists with software updates. - (Essential)
- 15% - Collaborate with fellow CBM team members to ensure brand continuity is met and advise internal clients on how to produce high-quality content that is engaging and relevant to the website's audience. - (Essential)
- 5% - Supports the office functions by completing all other duties and special projects as assigned. - (Essential)
