Warehouse Worker Job at Powell Valves
- To maintain accuracy in stores, shipping, receiving and inventory control with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read, interpret and follow associated documentation to accomplish shipping and/or receiving with minimal supervision.
- Ability to recognize product and components to prevent incorrect storage, receiving or shipment.
- Ability to use all equipment within the work area including: scales, weight charts, packing equipment, etc.
- Understands, uses and completes necessary documentation including to stock, from stock, adjustments, and receivers.
- Capable of using fork truck, load, and unload trucks.
- Assist QC department in counting and identifying incoming material.
- Data entry with the AS400 system
- Complete repetitive tasks with no attention, quality or productivity loss.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Required High school diploma. Shipping/Receiving experience a plus.
- Working in a manufacturing environment in a safe manner for employee, employees, product, and machinery.
- Communicated effectively with team members as well as management.
- Ability to work in a co-worker team environment.
- Keeps works area clean and organized.
- Required to stand for extended periods. Ability to stand, bend, stoop, lift and walk. Maximum unassisted lift is 30 pounds. The proper PPE is required.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
