Qualifications:

• B.A/B.S in related fields, along with 5 or more years of management experience
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of warehouse operations best practices
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects, while being detail oriented
• Hire, train and develop team members
• Ability to lift/move in excess of fifty pounds, and use hand wheeled carts to move appliances
• Be action oriented working alongside and leading the team.
• Experience with and knowledge of electronic components preferred
• Knowledge of inventory management systems required; Proficiency with Fishbowl Inventory System preferred
• Lean, Six Sigma proficiency preferred

Responsibilities:

• Ensures that the company as a unit adheres to safety policies and procedures
• Serves as key carrier who makes sure facilities and housekeeping are in tact
• Develops partnership with Sears Logistics Services’ (SLS), Distribution centers and Product Repair services
• Must have day, evening and weekend availability to work
• Leads the receiving and in-store operations to ensure achievement of business goals in expenses, payroll, inventory shrinkage and associate morale
• Prices products per Outlet Pricing Guidelines and leads efforts in unit’s achievement of improved margins and cost recovery
• Warehouse manager is responsible for providing leadership to a core team of associates liable for the receiving and replenishment of merchandise and ensuring the sales floor is well presented and products are available for sale to customer
• Ethically adheres to operational processes (i.e. receiving, replenishing, shipping and accounts
• Prepares required reports that provide detailed analysis of purchased goods
• Manages and coordinates all aspects of the procurement of materials/and or services, while overseeing activities and operations of the purchasing department and staff
• Ensure accurate and timely shipments and receipts
• Establish and maintain professional communication with vendors
• Maintenance of vendor evaluation program and reports on on-time delivery, quality and responsiveness
