We are currently seeking a reliable & dependable Warehouse Associate to join our team for the night shift.

This position can expect to work ten hours a day, up to 6 days a week. The ideal candidates will have a flexible schedule and will be willing & able to work overtime in accordance with Oregon State Law.

Summary:

The Warehouse Associate operates forklifts, receives, ships and maintains accurate inventory of product. They ensure that the workplace remains safe and clean and that all food safety practices and GMP’s are properly followed.

Essential Functions:

· Load and unload trucks by moving product safely using powered industrial forklift and pallet jack equipment.

· Move and/or select product for shipment and production fulfillment.

· Navigate and operate ERP system (Microsoft Navision)

· Check product for accuracy and placement utilizing system scanners.

· Put away product as directed by warehouse supervisor.

· Promote a safe work environment and identifies all personal safety and food safety concerns as well as cost saving opportunities.

· Ensure inbound product matches customer’s certificate of analysis.

· Verify all pallets are properly wrapped and secure.

· Clear work area of loose wood, plastic and debris. Work areas require sweeping and emptying of waste receptacles daily.

· Pull production dry materials.

· Report any faulty equipment, damage to facility, damage to product and all safety hazards immediately.

· Read and respond to internal emails.

· Must have open availability to work a flexible schedule when production requires including; ability to work entire shift, extended shift hours, weekends, holidays, and required overtime in accordance with Oregon State laws.

· Other duties as requested.

Secondary Responsibilities:

· Conduct physical Inventory annually and cycle counts semi-annually.

· Support seasonal front dock operations

Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· 1 year distribution warehouse experience

· 1 year recent forklift experience

· Ability to become forklift certified

· Ability to navigate forklift in narrow spaces.

· Ability to safely and properly distribute weight in trailers.

· Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems and Radio Frequencies

· Computer proficiency with MS Office

· Comfortable in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to read numbers and labels, add, subtract and multiply

· Must be able to communicate and read in English

· Must have a valid driver license

Must be able to pass a drug screen.
