Kingston Casual Furniture manufactures, imports and sells premium outdoor furniture. This job will work in our US - Huntsville, AL facility. Must be comfortable working in fast paced environment and handling large, heavy boxes. PRIMARY FUNCTION will be moving boxes weighing 50-170 lbs for shipment and unloading shipping containers filled with furniture boxes. Support all warehouse procedures and exhibit a basic understanding of all company operations. Responsible for all E-commerce, shipping inventory, organizing warehouse space, and maintaining accurate inventory of all company stock. Will be held accountable for accurately and independently performing daily tasks while working as a team toward the company’s long-term goals. Must pass drug test and criminal background check before hire.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs (Outdoor Furniture, weighing up to 170 lbs routinely handled)
• Maintain the cleanliness, orderliness and safety of all areas of the warehouse
• Loading and unloading shipping containers
• Maintain and organize inventory
• Complete basic sanitation and maintenance of warehouse
• Process, package, and ship inventory accurately
• Attentive to details of shipping documentation
• Fulfill E-commerce required “daily” activities
• Exhibit excellent communication skills unique to our work environment
• Heavy equipment operations, Order picker/Fork truck
• Quality control of all handled merchandise
• Process E-commerce orders, import from all channels; Amazon, Houzz, Wayfair, Target, etc.
• Develop competence with company technology
• Meet deadlines and complete all tasks assigned by management
• Assist other departments as needed

Preferred skills

• Hands on, maintenance background
• Microsoft Excel, along with a general comprehension of basic computer applications

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
