About the Role

The Vice President Sales and Marketing for Consumer Goods North America is responsible for, managing the sales and marketing function for CG in NA. Implementing, managing and developing sales & marketing activities in the region within the framework of defined business units’ strategic plans and in collaboration with global functions.

What You Will Do

  • P&L responsibility for the region including WC (working capital) management in collaboration with other teams.

  • Design and execute operational sales and marketing plans to achieve key business objectives.

  • Leads and develops the regional sales and marketing organization in terms of efficiency, effectiveness, structure and talent development.

  • Drives and develops sales and profitability targets within the region by setting sales targets and allocating resources within an allocated budget.

  • Develops and coordinates regional sales and marketing activities in line with business unit strategy and in collaboration with global functions in order to achieve defined targets.

  • Secures communications of strategies, objectives and priorities to team and builds roadmap for achievement Pricing in alignment with Business Plans.

  • Leads transformation projects in the region to support the long-term business development including new categories approach to the market.

  • Executes launches and roll-out of new products on the market or existing products on new markets comprising tactical pricing and promotion, operational marketing activities and implementation, PR, sampling and tactical communication.

  • Implements CRM, competitive reporting, generates consumer/customer understanding, in collaboration with the BU Market & Development function plan.

  • Develops and executes local launch processes in coordination with BU Marketing and Business development function.

  • Contributes to the development of the overall business unit strategic plan.

  • Proven Strategic thinking, holistic and analytical mindset.

  • Strong Leadership skills, including communication & influence, team building and team management promoting purpose and long-term vision.

  • Proven capabilities builder in high performing teams.

  • Commercial & Marketing background with preferred turnaround business experience

  • Desirable NA consumer market knowledge.

  • Strong internal and external digital mindset experience.
