Vocational Adjustment Instructor (PT) Job at Goodwill Industries of Omaha
Oversee the design and delivery of educational components of the Work Experience programs. Develop lessons geared towards the individual needs and capabilities of Work Experience participants.

- Develop and maintain a classroom curriculum that focuses on employment readiness for students attending Work Experience.
- Make sound decisions in dealing with the day-to-day activities of participants.
- Conduct weekly classroom sessions at designated training locations.
- Assist with professional development and staff training.
- Provide support, training, and coverage when necessary to Work Experience Trainers and sites.
- Ensure that participant records are maintained in an organized and legible manner in accordance with Goodwill policy and procedures, Department of Education, and CARF requirements.
- Educate and communicate with site staff to maintain positive relationships.
- Must be able to travel in the Omaha, Council Bluffs metropolitan area and one time weekly to Blair to instruct students.
- Ensure participants gain skills that will assist them in employment.
- Ensure program outcomes, measures, and documentation meet or exceed Goodwill policies and procedures, Department of Education, and CARF requirements.
- Meet or exceed performance expectations as defined in the Program Evaluation efficiency, effectiveness, and satisfaction measures.
- Meet or exceed the attendance expectations for this position.
- Actively maintain a safe, healthy, and positive environment that promotes the physical and emotional well-being of employees, customers, and participants.
- Other duties as assigned.
