We are currently looking for veterinary technicians to assist in the highest level care of animals. Technicians may perform an initial evaluation of the animal's condition, clean and wrap wounds, check vital statistics, collect samples and administer medication. Must show compassion and humanity towards our clients and patients. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills needed!

We offer competitive compensation for motivated individuals who are willing to work nights, holidays, and weekends. We are looking for 1 full-time and one part time to hire.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide superior customer service and patience
  • Process payments
  • Email/fax medical records
  • Answer phone calls as a secondary support system for receptionist
  • Fill and explain prescriptions to pet owners
  • Assist with patient discharges
  • Maintain cleanliness of facility and working areas

Patient Care:

  • Proficient in placing IV catheters
  • Administer IV, SQ, IM injections
  • Monitor vitals
  • Perform diagnostics (bloodwork, radiographs, Urine collection, etc.)
  • Provide support for surgery induction and recovery

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must have minimal 2 years experience in veterinary technician skills
  • Is comfortable being pro active and working well with others
  • Maintain a positive attitude with staff and clients
  • Prioritize customer service and patient care
  • Enjoys a fast fun-filled working environement
  • Able to triage effectively
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Perform basic drug calculations
  • Must be comfortable with monitoring anesthesia while maintaining safe patient parameters.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Relief

Pay: $24-$28 Depending on experience level
