Madison Construction - Rogers Group Inc – Gallatin, TN

Day Shift: approximate shift times of 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Wages: Compensation to be determined based on experience and background

Rogers Group is seeking a UTILITY and PIPE CREW FOREMAN to oversee and supervise our construction team; grading work to include large earth, sewer, and pipe laying based out of Madison, TN . This is a hands-on position. Competitive starting wages, higher pay for verifiable experience, and great benefits!

The successful candidate for this role will be experienced and have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for coaching and modeling safety procedures and policies at all times.
• Provide leadership and take ownership of scheduling, coordinating, and supervising site works crew.
• General utility or pipeline construction and labor experience; natural gas, storm water, sewer, grading and utilities
• Control vehicle flow around the worksite.
• Assist other workers as needed or directed and other duties as assigned by management
• Self-motivated individual, must be able to perform required duties without constant supervision
• Able to perform a variety of duties, some which may include site clean-up, using a rake/shovel, flagging, and other duties as assigned
• Ability to learn quickly

Required Qualifications:

• Must have a dedication to safe work practices
• Able to work outdoors in extreme conditions, such as cold, heat, and humidity.
• Able to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening
• Knowledge of general principles and practices of industrial maintenance, construction, or aggregate production is a plus.
