Unarmed Flex Security Officer responsible for conducting patrols and static security at client sites in and around Pierce and King county. Officers will be required to have the ability to safely operate a vehicle, stand on their feet for long periods of time and work outside in the elements (weather). This position requires individuals that possess self-discipline, a good work ethic, flexibility, and punctuality. Flex officers must have a valid drivers license, a vehicle, and a clean driving record.

Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug test. Candidates must have be well groomed, articulate, dependable, and be a team player.

The Officer does not act in the capacity of a law enforcement officer and has no arrest or apprehension powers. The work is performed outdoors and indoors.

Essential Duties Responsibilities:

· Detect, deter, and report crime, fire, unusual events, and emergencies.

· Provide Security for new sites until permanent Security Officers can be hired.

· Fill in for officers while on vacation/sick/no call-no show.

· Required to follow all company personnel and safety policies and perform all assigned duties in a safe work manner.

· Will arrive at work at the designated time in proper uniform and carrying needed issued equipment.

· Will carry out general and special orders for post assigned.

· Will communicate via radio, telephone and orally according to orders.

· Will be responsible for cleanliness of uniform and equipment assigned.

· Meet, greet, and interact professionally with employees and the general public

· Maintain poise and self-control under stress.

· Construct and write clear, concise, accurate, and detailed reports in English.

· Read, speak, understand, and apply printed rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training materials in English.

· Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays and be on call

· Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Requirement Minimum Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or GED.

· Must be at least 18 years of age.

· Prior military, civilian, or security officer experience preferred but not requred.

· To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Required Skills Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

· Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.

· Must speak, read, write, and understand the English language, apply written rules, detailed orders, instructions and training material.

· Excellent customer service via phone and face to face conversation, excellent written and oral command of English.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
