Requirements

• Must have a positive, happy attitude and enjoy working with the public.
• People that are also willing and able to work rotating weekends will be preferred.
• Must be able to take turns working on Sundays
• 1.5 years or more, of recent, full-time, food service experience (preferred).
• MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER"S LICENSE
• Must be able to work a minimum of three days per week or more on-going.
• Preference will be given to those with full-time open availability.
• Must be available for long-term work
• Must be reliable...we are only seeking employees who really need to work and will show up and be a hard working, out-going, smiling and a fun employee.
• Must live close to our Cafe, with less than a 25 minute commute.
• Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a VERY fast-paced work environment
• Must have reliable Transportation to our Moon Township location
• Willingness and ability to continuously stand, clean and walk throughout the duration of each shift.
• Willingness and ability to bend, lift, climb a three step ladder, and carrying up to 40 pounds to perform duties like stocking, refilling ice, or taking out trash
• Must be comfortable with Constant face-to-face interactions with crew members and customers
• Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions
• Ability and willingness to work in a FAST PACED team environment and take direction from others.
• Willingness and ability to learn to prep and cook food to our top notch brand standard.

Preferred Employee Traits:

• three+ years of full-time Food Service Experience
• Ability to move into a Lead position within three months
• Food Handler Certification
• Strong Customer Service Skills
• Ability to take turns working Sundays
• Food Safety Manager Certification

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Most shifts are between five and eight hours, but this may vary.
- Comply with the Tropical Smoothie Cafe uniform, personal hygiene, limited jewelry (no lip piercings), and cleaning & sanitation polices for each shift.
