SHIFT DETAILS: 40hrs Eves/Nights Nursing Supervisor, Off-Shifts and Weekends.

This position is responsible for the daily operations of the Patient Care Services Departments, working collaboratively with the Admitting Office and overall hospital functions on off-shifts, weekends, and holidays. Interacts with nursing/patient Care Services staff and staff of other departments to facilitate patient care. Provides administrative and clinical support to the nursing staff primarily on off-shifts, weekends, and holidays in the absence of the Clinical Nursing Leadership.

Skills Required:

Exemplary written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with a diverse group of people. Ability to quickly gain competency in various hospital software applications. Demonstrates effective leadership abilities and is comfortable working in stressful situations; able to work in a quickly changing environment. Advanced Clinical Skills. Demonstrates strong decision-making skills.

Requirements:

• 3+ years Advanced Medical/Surgical-Nursing.
• Critical Care nursing experience 3 years relevant healthcare experience required, including progressive leadership responsibilities
• Education Required: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Licensure Required: Current Massachusetts State RN License, in good standing.
• Certifications Required: Current BLS.
