The Department desires candidates who have experience in using Computer Inventory Systems (Asset Works/Fleet Focus or similar), inventory control, operating a forklift, and experience in a warehouse setting that primarily dealt with medium/heavy construction equipment, and automotive parts.
This is the entry-level class within the Transportation Warehouse Worker series. This class is characterized by the responsibility to supply highly specialized heavy trucks and construction equipment with a variety of parts and materials. The class of Transportation Warehouse Worker I is distinguished from the class of Transportation Warehouse Worker II by the latter's broad scope of responsibility and level of independence. Transportation Warehouse Worker I is a natural progression underfill for the class of Transportation Warehouse Worker II.
The incumbent will work a 4/10 schedule Tuesday-Friday.
