Job Description:
Empowered Leader:

Leads a team to effectively and efficiently manage the day to day operations and activities of talent training programs

Solicits feedback from all relevant stakeholders related to performance and incorporates feedback into the talent training program accordingly
-
Leads in the orientation, onboarding, and continuous education efforts supported by the talent training team
-
Manage the trainer positions to deliver production enhancing programs for all distribution functions
-
Works with Talent Training Program Manager to ensure appropriate staffing levels
-
Coach and develop trainers for future roles to create a pipeline of future leaders to replace promoted members of the team
-
Sets schedules according to workload
-
Serves as a back-up in the absence of the Talent Training Program Manager

Fosters a high degree of morale among direct reports, including providing feedback, coaching, recognition, and rewards

Conducts or delegates shift start-up meetings; communicates information related to culture, safety, training initiatives, and facility/HR updates to keep team members informed

Leads the performance review process and enters ratings in PEAK

Provides timely, ongoing communication ensuring the effective communication of information to trainers and Talent Training Program Manager

Responsible for creating overall shift schedules and serving as back up for the Talent Training Program Manager

Final payroll approver in Kronos

Leveraging internal and external resources to focus on continuous development as a leader in Talent Training

Maintain existing talent training programs to update consistently and manage business changes to ensure program relevance

Preferred Bachelor’s Degree

Physical and Weightlifting Demands:

Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of tools and boxes

Standing for long periods of time, as well as repetitive motion

Operate manual pallet jacks (Operation of other equipment is a plus!)

Able to work in various temperature conditions

Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 70lbs
