Job Description
Plans, develops, and coordinates in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers. Obtains information needed to prepare in-house training programs; prepares training materials; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids. Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. May utilize trainers with technical expertise. Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.
Main responsibilities include:
  • Embedded Instructor
  • Work with X32 Trades on all programs to increase proficiency
  • Work with Supervisors to identify training gaps in their work areas
  • Increase presence of training on the deck plate to support the programs needs
  • Advance skills training for X32
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or Apprentice School graduate and 6 years related exempt level experience; Or Master’s Degree and 4 year related exempt experience. High School and 5 years of related trade experience can be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree. Graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School could be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
