Job Purpose

The Training Kitchen Manager is responsible for the overall management and development of all Training Kitchen employees. They are responsible for hiring, onboarding, training, and developing all Training Kitchen employees to be able to fulfill their role within the Crumbl University Program. This position requires some development, tactical, and strategic program development. This position requires working closely with the Director of Training Implementation, Flagship Director, and Dir. of Training Content to ensure efficient and effective processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Hires and onboards all new Training Kitchen employees (Training Kitchen Instructor, Training Kitchen Assistant)
  • Oversees Training Kitchen Instructors performance and identifies areas for improvement for better teaching practices
  • Assigns duties and responsibilities to the Training Kitchen Assistant
  • Assists the Dir. of Training Implementation in the franchise partner training process, including structure, role out, and overall measurement of the program’s success
  • Creates expectations and responsibilities for all Training Kitchen Instructors as well as participants during the Crumbl University Program
  • Is up to date with all the latest Crumbl operations, processes, policies, and requirements and ensures they are properly implemented in the Crumbl University program, under the direction of the Dir. of Training Implementation
  • Measures the comprehension of all Crumbl University participants
  • Communicates clearly and effectively with the Training Kitchen team members, interested Crumbl University participants, Crumbl HQ employees, and Dir. of Training Implementation
  • Maintains and supervises email communication within training email account
  • Received and implements feedback given from the Dir. of Training Implementation, CU participants, and other branches of Crumbl HQ
  • Maintains the Training Kitchen facility to be in line with Crumbl’s brand protection policies and standard, as well as the local Health and Food Department regulations
  • Manages the Training Kitchen facility which includes, but is not limited to: rent, lease agreements, build out, maintenance, landlord communication, etc.
  • Oversees that the Training Kitchen facility is within corporate budget and does not overspend in any area, which includes, but is not limited to: ingredients, labor, build out, etc.
  • Completes the ingredient inventory and ingredient ordering for the Training Kitchen facility with the assistance of the Dir. of Training Content
  • Ensures changes in the training offered at the Training Kitchen Facility are not implemented without recorded data
  • Assists Training Kitchen Instructors with overall presentation preparation

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • >1 year of professional teaching or training history/experience
  • 4-year college degree preferred
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year Crumbl experience at Crumbl Franchising
  • Must have 6+ months of previous management experience (does not have to be within Crumbl)
  • Ability to navigate and operate multiple required software programs
  • Must work well collaboratively and independently with limited supervision
  • Excellent verbal communication and attention to detail
  • Must be over the age of 21 years old
  • Must be willing to work (or commute) to work in the Crumbl HQ office on a regular basis / must be willing to relocate to Utah
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Must be able to safely operate heavy machinery which may include, but is not limited to: ovens, fridges, mixers, tables and chairs
  • Availability to work some nights, mornings, holidays, and weekends (as assigned)

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Working conditions include standing for long periods of time, lifting, bending, speaking and moving arms, legs, and hands for up to 8 hours at a time with intermittent breaks.

This position requires the ability to frequently lift kitchen products and supplies up to 50 pounds.
