Lewis & Clark Traffic Control and Security LLC is seeking qualified individuals for our Traffic Control Officer positions. Successful applicants will be added to our employee roster and become an integral part of our team in the Seattle/Tacoma areas. The selected individuals may be armed and will work in or near intersections directing traffic and/or keeping pedestrians and other workers safe. All positions are temporary and part-time and at different locations. We currently do NOT have full-time positions. Acceptance of applicants will add them to our employee roster for when work is available.
Responsibilities:
- Directing traffic in or near road intersections
- Keeping other workers and pedestrians safe in and around work zones
- Monitoring work zone for potential hazards and potential criminal activity
Qualifications:
- 5 years minimal law enforcement experience and be in good standing with police certifying agency
- Active police officers seeking part-time work are also desired
- Be at least 21 YOA with qualified to work in the U.S.
- Possess a LEOSA or State of WA Firearm Certificate (If you chose to carry while working traffic)
- Possess a LEOSA or Concealed Carry Permit (If you chose to carry while working and your weapon is concealed)
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time (4-12 hrs w/breaks)
- Have smart phone and be able to use company app to check in and out of work sites
