Our Next Us Childcare serves a vibrant diverse community located just minutes from downtown Orlando with easy access to interstate (I-4) and main connecting roads (Orlando Ave., Lee Rd., John Young Pkwy, Edgewater Dr).This is a full-time position that works 8-hour shifts, Monday - Friday with toddlers aged 1 -2 years old. The pay is $13 -15 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. This is an onsite role at our center located: 5029 Edgewater Dr, Orlando, FL 32810

The Toddler Teacher plans and implements curriculum for their 1 -2-year-old age group, serves as a model and mentor, and coordinates engaging developmental activities for children. You’ll have the opportunity to build a dynamic classroom environment, create fun-filled learning activities, and support the growth and success of children.

What You’ll Do:
  • Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
  • Lead by example and encourage success through modeling and coaching
  • Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth
  • Follow all facility policies and state regulations
  • Maintain a personal, professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement

What We Need from You:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Willingness to participate in 2 hour shadowing period
  • 45 DCF hours required
  • CDA preferred
  • Pass the DCF background check
  • At least 1 year of professional early childhood training/experience
  • CPR and First Aid Certification required
  • Fire Extinguisher Training
  • Ability to obtain necessary certifications and/or Licensures within 30 days of employment
