Title Insurance - Title Reader/Clearance Officer Job at GloalServe Title Agency Corp.
MAJOR DUTIES:
- Research and resolve clearance related matters
- Reading/Proofing/open Clearance of all NY Commercial/Residential files prior to/during closing
- Proofing/open Clearance of all select Commercial Transactions
- Review/read Survey Readings
- Provide proactive communication with Sales and Clients regarding title matters requiring assistance prior to closing
- Provide assistance to incoming inquiries from Clients and other parties to transaction
- Communicate with clients, UW Counsel and intra-personal regarding clearance related matters
- Review closing documents for accuracy and compliance with transaction requirements for issuance of title policy
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 - 5 years of strong working knowledge of New York commercial and residential real estate and loan sales, title and closing; and all associated title and loan documents
- Knowledge of all positions, including title reading and clearance;
- Working knowledge of real estate titles, deed preparation and closing.
- Proven customer service skills
- Ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner
- Able to multi-task and prioritize
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Experience with TrackerPro is a Plus
