Who we’re looking for
The TFS Voluntary Protection Product (VPP) Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Tire and Wheel/Key Product Manager. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and oversee protection products that meet the needs of our dealer and retail customers and contribute to the overall profitability of TFS. This role is responsible for the overall performance of Tire & Wheel/Key Products portfolio, which includes new product development and/or enhancements to current products, ongoing product operations, market and competitive analysis, product pricing, loss control, and controlling operational expenses. Reporting to the Voluntary Protection Products National Manager, the person in this role will support the VPP department’s objective to ensure profit and sales objectives are met, and that the products offered support the company’s overall strategy and goals.
What you’ll be doing
Manage the overall Tire and Wheel/Key Replacement product portfolio. Outcome: Sales and profit targets are met or exceeded.- Oversee product operations and program management. Outcome: Ongoing processes and programs enable efficient and timely product delivery servicing.
- Create and maintain business partner relationships and manage Statement of Work (SOW) deliverables and service levels. Outcome: Outsourced product administration for Tire and Wheel and Key Replacement (Safeguard) remains within scope and budget, and service levels are met.
- Develop, communicate and present the Tire & Wheel and Key Product Strategy and Priorities. Outcome: Management buy-in and support for initiatives that enable Insurance sales and profitability growth.
- Participate fully as part of the VPP leadership team and provide direct report leadership. Outcome: Insurance line of business vision and objectives are clearly communicated and supported, and each team member understands how his/her work contributes to the overall team goals.
What you bring
Four-year college degree in Business or other related fields.- Supervisory/management level experience.
- Vendor management experience.
- Relevant work experience supporting a program or product.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturer-provided (OEM) protection products and operations.
- Excellent strategic and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong teamwork orientation, positive attitude, adaptability and flexibility.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Travel 10%.
