Infeed Operator (TFL) – Moncure, NC

SCHEDULE: 12-hour rotating shift, M-Th. Rotates day/night shift weekly.

SUMMARY

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of mobile equipment. The primary purpose of this position is to keep the line fed with raw board, raw paper and to put away all finished goods into the warehouse

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proficient in the use of a Forklift to transport raw board units, finished units and raw paper pallets
• Responsible for confirming the packaging quality of finished units coming off the line
• Able to properly prepare paper for usage (unwrapping, re-wrapping, flipping, cutting, loading the lines, etc.)
• Utilize SAP to put away finished units, locate paper pallets, find put-away bays, etc…
• Communication of production needs to the other production employees on your team
• Accurately follow the production schedule
• Maintain expected housekeeping standards
• Ability to work in a team environment in order to achieve higher engagement and empowerment, cross-training, and personal growth.
• Uphold core team values, responsibilities and behaviors.
• Assist team in making good business decisions.
• Other duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift 50lbs, work in hot/cold environment, walking, standing, bending for 12 hours per shift.
• Ability to work extended hours and rotating shift as required.
• Ability to work at heights, in hot and noisy environments as required.
• High School diploma or GED; additional education a plus.
• 1 to 3 years’ experience in an automated manufacturing environment, preferably in continuous manufacturing of composite panels.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills to attain high levels of performance.
• Ability to work in a team environment and support others in the team.
• Ability to complete assigned task in a timely manner.
