Territory Manager - Commercial Landscaping Service Management

Bloom Partners has been engaged by a Commercial Facilities Management company in the Glenmoore, PA market to recruit and hire a Territory Manager to join their team for one of the following locations:

Upstate NY - Coverage area includes Albany, Binghamton, Utica/Rome, and scattered sites upwards to the Adirondack area.

This role is 80%+ on the road within a region

The Territory Manager provides management and oversight within their designated geographic zone. They build strong relationships, facilitate communications in the field between all key stakeholders, maintain Quality Control of Service Vendor performance, and resolve problems within the zone.

  • Compensation: $70k - $75k+
  • Annual team bonus incentive of 10% - 20% of their annual earnings

Responsibilities

  • During the snow season (Dec-Mar), travel to winter storm-impacted areas, validate services, photo documents activity, and communicate back to the account team and client.
  • During landscape season, validating services, building relationships with providers, and identifying/driving enhancement sales opportunities.
  • Deliver Vendor Quality Control programs within the region
  • Facilitate communications in the field between team members, our client's Operations Managers, our client's Affiliates, client locations
  • Provide guidance and feedback to our client
  • Maintains Quality Control Reports
  • Resolve customer problems by applying resources as necessary
  • Conduct site surveys for various trades and services
  • Foster a positive team environment
  • Ensure confidentiality of internal and external data

Role Specific Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Capable of working outside in supervisory-inspection capacity in all weather conditions
  • Able to climb ladders and perform rooftop maintenance inspection tasks
  • Capable of extensive driving (day, night, and inclement) and commercial air travel
  • Able to travel nationwide on short notice on a limited basis
  • Excellent driving record

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Other Relevant Qualifications

  • Strong multi-unit enterprise facilities management experience preferred in the following skills: Landscaping, Irrigation, Snow-Ice Programs, Interior and exterior facilities management, and Janitorial Services
  • Experience in a trade
  • Retail experience or experience servicing retailers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
