SUMMARY
The Tellers job is to welcome members to the branch, perform their financial transaction and guide them through a successful and rewarding experience in order to increase each members profitability potential and to guarantee that every member, every time receives a warm and positive experience. Display Altura Credit Unions Core Values (Respect, Integrity, Innovation, Passion and Excellence) to both external and internal members. Takes ownership of every member every time and provides Start to Finish member service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
  • Demonstrates excellence in member service by welcoming members to the branch and providing service in an efficient, friendly, and professional manner. Maintains a member survey average score of 9.5 or above.
  • Profiles members to determine Members needs and directs them to the proper services and resources for transacting business. Cross-sells Altura Credit Union and its Affiliates products and services. Consistently achieves monthly referral quota.
  • Accurately performs Symitar functions and balances cash drawer daily.
  • Adheres to compliance issues, policies and procedures, in order to preserve the operational integrity of the branch network.
  • Preserves the retail image of the branch office by maintaining a superior appearance of professionalism, cleanliness and organization.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.   • High school diploma or its equivalent is required, college is preferred.
  • A minimum of 6 months experience in retail or customer service is required.
