This role will implement and support new and existing technical system solutions, which include, but is not limited to, networking, Azure management, server management, and user support to meet PillarRx’s IT strategy.
Essential Duties and Functions include the following:
  • Support junior members of the the IT Systems team by providing mentorship and coaching to ensure a highly performant and educated staff
  • Collaborate with Brown and Brown IT staff to optimize delivery of solutions while ensuring a highly secure architecture
  • Provide direct support to internal teammates to resolve technical issues.
  • Support the PillarRx technology stack to ensure it meets the technical configuration and operational requirements to maintain all company certifications, including HITRUST
  • Supports the Azure architecture to ensure the Prod, Dev, and QA environments provide an efficient, secure, and cost-effective means to support data storage and software development
  • Maintains an accurate inventory of hardware and software assets
  • Installs, documents, tests, and trains users on software and hardware upgrades
  • Participates in the planning and designing of appropriate technologies to meet the evolving needs of the business
  • Ensures accurate documentation, including applicable security and backup policies, as well as department procedures to align with those policies, are created, reviewed, and updated on a regular cadence.
  • Makes technology-related recommendations and decisions for hardware and software acquisition
  • This position will include job duties that require risk designations for access to Electronic Protected Health Information (PHI) in the course of their job responsibilities
  • Other duties as assigned

Required
  • Associate degree in computer science with a minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in system administration concepts
  • Advanced knowledge of Information Technology concepts
  • Excellent Customer Service mindset
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to travel (<20%)
Preferred
  • Experience supporting Sql Server Databases
  • Experience supporting Azure architectural designs
