Position Summary:
In collaboration with the Clinical Director, the PACE Center Supervisor establishes and maintains uniform, consistent delivery of care and services for all participants in the PACE Center. The Supervisor provides leadership for the development and implementation of an effective activity program for the participants at Adult Day Health Center, while maintaining a calm and cohesive work environment within the PACE Center. Work situations are varied and frequently non-routine. This position requires independent thinking, creativity, conceptual planning and development skills, decision-making, use of good judgment and discretion, leadership, and strong interpersonal skills.
Minimum Requirements:
Direct experience in planning and implementing activity programs for participants in a group setting
Five years of supervision and leadership experience in Adult Day Health, Activity department in LTC, or community programming focused on service to the frail elderly
Two years of experience working as part of an Interdisciplinary Team
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Associate Degree in recreational therapy or a related field Or combination of additional specific recent relevant experience, certification or program completion may be considered in lieu of education
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Compensation Range:
M20 - Min: $33.81-Max: $48.65
