This position will work under the direction of the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Finance and assist to ensure that commodity forecasting models are accurate and timely so that appropriate menu price planning decisions can be made, and corporate financial projections are reliable. Additionally, this position will also help provide analysis for the Supply Chain team to ensure that the best Supply Chain decisions are being made using effective and accurate data. Responsibilities

Here’s more of what you’ll get to do:
  • Develop and maintain Cost of Goods Sold financial models across concepts.
  • Support the on-going cost analysis and alternative supplier and/or product comparative analysis for Supply Chain team.
  • Track cost associated with Food and Non-Food categories within the Supply Chain team.
  • Evaluate various cost savings opportunities.
  • Provide usage forecast by developing demand forecast models (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for various time horizons.
  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
  • Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated supply and cost assumptions.
  • Provide input to distribution and logistics in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
  • Prepare and interpret key financial trends, data analytics, and cost drivers to Management.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis, such as usage/spend reports to various cross-functional teams.


Qualifications

What we require:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, and demand planning
  • Highly Proficient Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word
  • Ability to create analytical spreadsheets and reports
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong financial and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize
  • Proven history of meeting deadlines
  • Adaptable and comfortable operating in a dynamic organization
  • Independent thinker, self-motivated and practice good decision-making
What we prefer:
  • Supply Chain Finance, Data Analytics experience in foodservice or similar industry
  • SQL proficiency
  • MBA
