The Opportunity
Supplier Quality Engineer
We have a rewarding opportunity available for a Supplier Quality Engineer!
As the Supplier Quality Engineer, you will provide supplier quality management during new parts and mass production process which includes new part approval and suppliers nonconforming disposition, on-site audit, performance review etc. You will also make sure all parts from supplier meet company requirement.
Location: Santa Clarita, CA
Salary Range: $78,800.00-$105,100.00

Your Challenge:

Maintain new supplier evaluation, new parts validation and approval for new projects and parts localization project.

Resolve problems for parts issued from customer, production, or IQC. Provide analysis on all processes to determine the root cause and propose a solution. Provide follow up to suppliers.

Monitor/support suppliers’ product/process quality control system improvement by system/process/product audit, supplier training and project management etc. Responsible for ensuring suppliers comply with environmental laws and requirements and comply with

Be responsible gathering and reporting product defects, failure modes and other Quality related issues to vendors.

Facilitate Corrective Action and Root Cause investigations at the Vendor

Participate in C-W non-conformance investigations

Work closely with Supply Chain Management to monitor delivery and quality performance though regular reporting or regular business reviews

Review and disposition flow downs from CW or Customer to vendors and ensure they are effectively executed

Conduct both Internal and Supplier Quality Audits
Your Expertise:
-
Associates or Bachelors Degree
-
ISO9001 and ISO/TS 16949 internal auditor.

Knowledge of at least 1 field (Mechanical, Planstic or Electrical component)

Excellent problem solving skills
-
Proficient in MS Office
-
4 to 6 years experience in a similar role
