We are currently searching for a dynamic, Supplier Quality Assurance - Engineer to be responsible monitoring and tracking supplier's quality performance based on the organization requirements. This position will lead the supplier s audit plan and will monitor the supplier s overall performance via traceable data; will ensure that Scorecards are maintained and kept up to date to support decision making process. Will help identify opportunities for improvement and influence suppliers to better their quality.

The ideal candidate will have a track record in Supplier Quality Assurance and/or Supplier Development with strong technical roles in Manufacturing.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Support the prequalification of supplier process.
• Design and administer supplier auditing process for direct and indirect suppliers
• Conduct routine audits to support supplier evaluations, evaluating supplier processes as needed to prevent non-conforming products from being shipped
• Conduct routine analysis as required to support supplier review
• Arrange supplier visits to verify and approve corrective actions in place to eliminate quality issues Champion and continuously improve supplier-related nonconformance management process
• Introduce supplier quality methods/procedures that might be new for the organization
• Manage supplier corrective actions, working closely with supplier to resolve quality issues and reduce repeat occurrences
• Work with appropriate teams to improve suppliers through supplier development activities
• Maintain and report supplier scores
• Support decision making process with data analysis as required, monitoring supplier performance and project deliverables
• Encourages the active participation and implication of the team and improving processes and procedures
• Some travel may be required

Ideal candidate will have the following experience and education:

• Bachelor s degree in engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience
• Proven experience performing Supplier Audits
• Ability to manage the audit schedule for a large number of suppliers and multiple and/or complex projects and priorities under deadlines
• Be able to apply knowledge with an understanding of business operations to achieve regulatory compliance
• Ability to effectively manage relationships with all internal and external clients, while having negotiation and communications skills to influence other areas of impact, R&D and suppliers
• Knowledge of quality management tools and techniques
• Familiarity with FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and SPC (Statistical Process Control)
• Knowledge of 8D and Root Cause Analysis
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards
