The Diocese of St. Petersburg encompasses Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties. The Catholic schools of the diocese are in search of highly qualified substitute teachers. Prior teaching experience is preferred, but not necessary. A qualified candidate must have excellent communications skills and be highly responsible. The candidate should be highly energetic, organized, and child-focused. Responsibilities for the school include teaching classes for Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12.
It is preferred that the candidate have at least a high school diploma, be 21 years of age, have a Bachelor’s Degree or be in the process of obtaining one. This position requires a Level II Background Screening, Safe Environment Training, and other mandated diocesan training.
