Our Manager-In-Training will work under the direction of their General Manager and hands-on alongside our team to conduct business in an efficient and profitable manner in a fun, interactive atmosphere. You will be thoroughly trained on all aspects of the business including utilizing our industry leading technology and equipment, performing each of the associate roles at the location to allow you to lead and train by example and provide a consistent customer experience to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Compensation Plan

Career Path to SITE MANAGER ($ 55,000-60,000) upon successful completion

Earn $ 40,000 (based on a 43-hour work week) including incentives

An ideal candidate will have a strong desire to progress efficiently through our training program and be prepared to step confidently into a Site Manager role. Successful Managers in Training will love working outdoors and will not be afraid of occasionally getting dirty to get the job done! Mechanical aptitude helpful. We expect you will share our passion for building a high performance team, washing cars, creating an exceptional customer experience.

Manager In Training Responsibilities

You will be thoroughly trained in the following areas:
Open/Close and other daily operations
Ensure output meets quality standards
Manage facility, wash supplies and labor
Check in chemical deliveries and ensure accuracy
Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
Ensure marketing initiatives are followed to drive revenue
Monitor equipment and ensure proper maintenance
Computer Experience – POS, Excel, E-mail, Text, etc.
Overseeing and coaching Associates to identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
Direct Supervision of all team members
Primary Responsibility to manage car wash 2 days a week while manager is off
Train new associates on safe machinery use and follow established procedures
Resolve customer issues in a professional manner, seek opportunities to improve the customers experience while at Sparkle Express car Wash
Set objectives and communicate them to Associates
Keep accurate records and document all employee and customer incidents
