WEB PRESS HELPER - JOB POSTING

What You'll Do

This position is a full-time permanent position in a manufacturing environment. This position will be responsible for assisting in the manufacturing of charitable and lottery gaming products, including pull-tab tickets (break-open tickets) and bingo paper.

This position will play a key role in assisting the Press Operator with the operation and production of the Web Press.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare the rolls of paper for the press converting process.
• Load the rolls of paper on to the Martin Butt Splicer.
• Monitor and document the material width.
• Prepare the Butt Splicer for operation.
• Monitor product requirements and unload the product from the Jogger Stacker.
• Communicate variations in product requirements to operator to make necessary adjustments.
• Load the finished product on to skids, identify color, type, quantity and band skids for warehouse storage.
• Assist the Press Operator with the press readiness, run, clean up, maintenance and repair activities.
• To clean, organize, and maintain the press area.
• To perform all related duties as directed by Press Operator and department Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience
• 2 to 3+ years' experience in area
• Basic Math Skills
• Ability to read and follow printed instructions
• Ability to follow oral instructions
• Ability to operate computer using mid-level data entry skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a diverse environment.
• External candidates must be a US Citizen/Permanent Resident.
