Job description
Job Title – Sterile Tech
Contract – 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Shift – Varied
Location – Concord, MA 01742
SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENT:
- High school diploma or equivalent – Required.
- CRCST by IAHCSMM OR CSPDT by the ASHCSP – Required.
- BLS/BCLS (AHA) Certification – Required
- 4 years’ experience as Sterile Processing Technician - Required.
Responsibilities:
- Sterilizes instruments, equipment, linen, and related supplies using sterilizers and starred according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- Prepares surgical sets, instruments, treatment trays according to prescribed procedures ensuring that all instrumentation is correct and accurate.
- Must be proficient in Sterilization/Case Cart Picking and Endoscope Reprocessing
- Ensures that all instrument count sheets are kept up to date and accurate.
- Stores sterilized and prepared supplies and equipment in designated areas or return to departments upon request or replaces one for one when used.
- Informs bio-med of equipment no longer service able or other problems that arise.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
