Columbine Commons Health & Rehab is located in Windsor, Colorado and offers furnished private rooms designed to provide comfort for individuals requiring short-term rehabilitation following hospitalization or for long-term care, or end of life care/hospice care.

Compensation

  • Wages starting at $75,000k-$90,000k/yr

Work Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Monday - Friday with rotating on call weekends
  • 8:30am - 5:00pm

Staff Development Coordinator/Nurse Manager

  • Responsible for meeting the educational requirements for the nursing department, as well as tracking and ensuring required education is completed for all facility staff to meet Federal and State regulations
  • Works closely with the Director of Nursing assisting in managing the nursing department and working on additional projects as needed

Requirements

  • BSN and acute care experience preferred
  • Must have a minimum of three years of experience as a licensed nurse in a hospital, long-term care facility or other related health care facility
  • Prefer one year of experience in nursing leadership or education
  • Must have knowledge of nursing service administration, medical surgical nursing, geriatrics, and regulations governing skilled nursing facilities
  • Must also have a good understanding of adult learning principles and effective teaching methods
