Alvarado Restaurant Nation is seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to support restaurant and corporate accounting including monthly close procedures, account reconciliations, tax filings, license renewals, treasury accounting, and other daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual procedures.

Your Impact

• Ensure accurate financial statements and minimize errors on financial reports, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Ensure compliance with regulations and improve the company's financial standing by completing business property tax declarations and renditions, entering and reconciling capital expenditures, and providing audit support.
• Contribute to smooth running of the business by Managing landlord relationships and performing ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed

Your Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in accounting/finance or related field
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• High transaction volume environments
• Multi-unit environments
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains or similar accounting software
• Experience aggregating data from disparate sources (business intelligence systems, bank and vendor sites)
