Staff Accountant

We are looking for a full-time Staff Accountant for our busy and tenured Accounting/Administrative/HR office. Schedule is in-person, Monday-Friday. This position has excellent opportunities for advancement! The pay range for this position is $45,000-55,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Review general ledger accounts for accuracy and prepare adjusting journal entries
• Perform account analysis and reconciliation
• Post monthly and quarterly general ledger entries and accrual
• Identify errors and collaborate for ways to improve efficiency, accuracy, and cost savings
• Ensure all financial transactions within the company are accounted for
• Assist with monthly close process
• Other general accounting duties

Required Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Working knowledge of general financial accounting
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a general accounting or AP role
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
• Strong technical skills
