Bell is seeking a Sr. Nondestructive Inspection Specialist to support operations at our RSC, ROC and ACC facility located in our Fort Worth, Texas location.

In this position you will participate in the development, execution, and oversite of product inspections and processes used in the manufacturing environment to ensure robust and cost-effective product.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operates Realtime, portable Xray and shearography systems
• Develops and writes NDI procedures
• Inspects parts using NDI standards and procedures for various advanced materials composite and Metal
• Supports inspection and engineering personnel as needed for special inspections
• Accept and Reject product per T.O., Blueprints, maintenance manuals, Nonconformance reports, etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Training and experience as a Level 2 in X-ray and or Shearography
• Currently Meeting NAS 410 requirements
• Technical NDI inspection training per NAS410 min requirements
• Previous certification documentation available with Resume
• Ability to influence by utilizing BHTI concepts to encourage and develop an understanding of the changing role of inspection through the use of teamwork among BHTI employees
• Associate Degree in Non-Destructive Testing may be considered with no certifications
• 6 years of NDI experience min

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• NAS 410 Certification as Level 3 NDT with experience in testing and inspection of aircraft components; weldments, and composite fabricated parts.
• Science Degree in Non Destructive testing
• Certified Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
• Familiarization with BHTI systems and procedures.
• Certified in Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic and Eddy Current equipment #LI-Onsite
