Summary of Job Scope and Expectations:

The Sr. Building Ops Manager is responsible for the Building Ops function and has overall responsibility for ensuring that the Support Center building is safe and well-maintained, including parking lot security, janitorial services, and all emergency situations. This position works with General Contractors, Architects and Designers on large Support Center projects. The Building Ops Manager leads a team of supervisory, professional and skilled and semi-skilled maintenance associates, coaching and developing them to elevate their performance.Essential Functions:

Descriptions
  • Overall responsible for the Building Ops function and for ensuring that the Support Center building is safe and well-maintained, including parking lot security and installation of security systems as well as janitorial services. Works with General Contractors, Architects, and Designers on large Support Center projects.
• Manages, coaches, and develops supervisory, professional, and skilled and semi-skilled associates to elevate their performance. Responsible for the selection, evaluation, and retention of Building Ops staff.• Researches, evaluates, negotiates, and contracts with General Contractors and other vendors for large SC projects (e.g., remodels) as well as vendors providing preventative maintenance and needed repair services to Support Center.
  • Contributes to strategic planning for the Operations Services department and conducts budget development and oversight.
• Manages vendors’ performance to ensure work meets quality requirements and is provided in a timely and cost effective manner.• Develops maintenance and preventive maintenance programs, policies, and procedures for the Support Center as well as energy conservation policies and practices.
  • Represents the company to governmental bodies and regulatory agencies related to building standards. Works with public officials to ensure compliance with laws and guidelines applicable to facility maintenance.
  • Responsible for managing all emergency situations in the Support Center and overseeing evacuations. Works with law enforcement, including government security agencies and fire officials, to address safety issues.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree and CRFP certification required
  • Minimum five to seven years of facilities management experience, with increasing management experience
  • Successful completion of annual store training

Pay Range M3: $118,000 - $166,000 / Annual
