Full Time or Part Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
$34 per hour and up based on experience

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will assist in providing quality Speech Therapy patient care while maintaining a positive level of interaction with facilities and clients.
Responsibilities of a Speech Language Pathologist
- Screens facilities on a weekly basis and reports results to supervisor/manager
- Interprets and Organizes evaluation and assessment data
- Utilizes knowledge of patient's diagnosis, signs and symptoms presented and results of diagnostic studies to determine the patient's level of functioning
- Sets priorities and establishes realistic short and long-term goals
- Selects appropriate interventions to meet established goals
- Writes and maintains a plan of care for each patient, which includes specific speech/language pathology orders in coordination with the medical plan of care
- Communicates the plan of care in formal and informal conferences
- Implements the plan of care for each patient
- Accurately records in the clinical record the patient's care, patient teaching, and the patient's response to treatment. Uses SOAP format
- Evaluates effectiveness of patient plan of care
Qualifications of a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Valid SLP License in the State of Ohio
