New to In- Home Direct Support? Endeavor HCBS will certify and professionally train you to provide 1-on-1 in-home direct support to Members who have Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (i.e., autism, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, or epilepsy) ranging from mild to profound. You will become the coach, cheerleader, teacher, mentor, and an integral part of daily life in the community for our Members when you become a Direct Support Professional!

Job Duties: Direct Support Professionals care for our Members in their private residence and offer support and encouragement in their daily lives. If chosen for an opening, the DSP will follow guidelines and specific instructions pertaining to individual Member support and care. You will assist with personal care needs and encourage meaningful interactions between Members and the community. You will be an advocate for Arizona's intellectual and developmental disability community.

To be successful in this role you need to be supportive of Member abilities, have an empathetic manner, and offer care in a way that encourages independence, inclusion, and equality in the community. Top candidates are creative, patient, and understand the importance of family and community.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Applicant must be 18 years of age to apply.
  • Must be willing to work afternoon, evenings, weekends, possible holidays
  • Must be able to efficiently use and communicate via phone, text, and email.
  • Applicants for this position shall be subject to a search of both the Child Protective Services Central Registry and the Adult Protective Services Registry.
  • If chosen for a position, all employees must apply for a Level One fingerprint clearance card in order to work with children and vulnerable adults.
