Little Friends is currently seeking dedicated and caring Paraprofessionals to aid and support to our students with developmental disabilities by assisting classroom teachers with daily lesson and IEP plans. Paraprofessionals and school staff work together to create a therapeutic environment to best support the learning needs of students. This position is part of Krejci Academy and follows a 9-month school calendar with an optional 5 week summer session. The program is a kindergarten through 12th grade school providing educational, vocational, transitional, and therapeutic support.

The position is Monday through Friday from 8:45am-2:45pm in Warrenville, Illinois.

Requirements

Ability to obtain Paraprofessional certification required. At least 19 years of age and 1 of the following: (LFI will administer WorkKeys if needed)

  • High School Diploma or GED and passing scores on the ACT Workkeys:
  • High School Diploma or GED and passing scores on the ETS Parapro exam
  • 60 semester hours of coursework
  • Associate's degree or higher

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
