Position can be hybrid or remote, but the candidate has to be located in New England and able to attend monthly in person meetings.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Residential Solar Consultant
Job Responsibilities
- Handle company provided appointments with utmost professionalism
- Create financial proposals in proprietary pricing tool
- Clearly explain value propositions during-in-home sales appointments
- Participate in business development and community outreach campaigns
- Generate own appointments, particularly through referrals
- Use SalesForce to log sales activity and maintain contact with sales pipeline
- Maintain customer service relationship with existing clients
- Interact with customer, communicate project scope and set reasonable expectations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Successful track record of in-home sales. Preferably in solar, but will train the right candidate
- Proven experience explaining intricate concepts to potential buyers
- Good customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
- 3-5 years of a proven sales track record
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Salesforce experience is a plus
- Community outreach and networking experience is a plus
