We are looking for a C# Software Development Manager who is passionate about leading and contributing to the building of innovative solutions for debt management and treasury needs.

What you will focus on:

  • Continuously learn to optimize development. You will come up to speed in our domain and the architecture of our TDM products. You will introduce standardization across our products to facilitate ongoing maintenance and transferability. You will take the initiative to research and promote best practices in enterprise product design and development. You will create and maintain technical documentation on development processes and procedures, product architecture, etc.
  • Manage internal and external development groups. You will create and share technical specifications and directions for building and implementing new modules or system functionality, specifically in the areas of the user interface, user experience, optimization of queries, and process architecture. You will plan and allocate development resources to create realistic project timelines and launch dates employing agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate within and across teams. You will assist with the installation and deployment of products for new customers and upgrades for existing clients. You will work closely with Product Managers in the design and deployment of new modules, add-ons, or functionality. You will support the sales process by contributing technical knowledge needed for RFP responses, hosting quotations, and other potential technical business inquiries.

What you bring:

  • Experience. You have a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field combined with 4+ years of experience as a Senior .NET C# Developer on enterprise projects. You have progressed into a Lead or Management position, guiding technical teams, conducting code reviews, and leading development projects. You have exposure to OOP design patterns and their implementation, as well as driven development or extreme programming methodologies. You thrive in a CI/CD and zero downtime deployment environment.
  • Technical expertise. You have full stack development expertise working with .NET Core / .NET 5.0, and experience with both client/server systems and architecture as well as web-based applications. You have worked with Azure App Services and Azure SQL for hosted products and you have knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services. You are familiar with cloud-based infrastructures and design patterns including APIs.
  • Leadership. You can gain trust and respect, nurturing collaborative relationships to influence the work of a Development team. You can offer guidance and advice based on broad and deep knowledge of various techniques, tools, and methodologies. You can predict if your team’s assigned tasks will be completed on time. You believe in measurable quality and efficiency. You believe in keeping up to date with, and implementing, best practices.
  • Professional communication. You have effective written, verbal, and presentation skills. You can explain and defend your choices, manage conflict and translate technical concepts to a non-technical audience. You have a deep appreciation for diverse opinions and approaches.
