To grow our existing team, we are recruiting to fill the position of Shuttle Bus Driver. This is a part-time position with slightly flexible hours. CDL not required for our vehicle. For candidates interested in full-time hours, other opportunities may exist within the community to supplement.

The Bus Driver is responsible for providing transportation of residents to various local venues, including medical appointments, recreational outings, such as dining, shopping, museum tours, concerts, and more!

The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills, caring, compassionate, with the ability to work in flexible working hours.

Qualifications

  • Must have current Wisconsin Driver's License without restrictions.
  • Must enjoy working with the elderly and able to accept constructive criticism.
  • Ability to interact effectively with residents, their families, visitors, and other staff members.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in writing as well as verbally. Willing to work on weekends, holidays and evenings, when rarely necessary.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to bend, push, pull, and ER in excess of 50lbs, as necessary to perform required tasks as assigned throughout the workday.
  • Working knowledge necessary to operate tools such as wrenches, sockets, tire jacks, crowbars and jumper cables.
  • High school graduate or GED preferred.
  • Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.
