Shipping/Receiving/Materials Manager Job at Rockford Specialties
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
To coordinate activities to ensure product is assembled, packaged, shipped, and sent to outside supply base on a schedule to meet customer demand. To maintain warehousing such that product is protected from damage and is readily available.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate packaging and assembly jobs
- Oversee shipping and receiving activity
- Plan trucking in and out
- Coordinate the loading and unloading of vehicles
- Expedite as needed
- Produce purchase orders/receive purchase orders
- Develop and maintain labels
- Adhere to Company policies as described in Associate handbook.
- Develop processes and procedures as necessary to facilitate improvements in the department
- Follow all quality standards and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
- Other tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Two-years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
