Trialco Inc. is a quality secondary aluminum foundry located in Chicago Heights. We are now hiring for our production crew on our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift crews. Our ideal candidate is reliable, self-driven, and of course, hard-working. Trialco is an essential supplier for some of the largest manufacturing companies in the world.

The Shift Supervisor oversees the operation of two melting furnaces. The position reports directly to the Plant Manager and will interact with other departments. During the shift, the Supervisor is responsible for directing laborers on two furnaces, supervising ingot pouring, and stacking & enforcing all production, safety rules, and procedures.

The Company operates 24 hours per day 7 days per week. There are three 8-hour shifts, which rotate every 4 weeks. Supervisors rotate with their shift and are responsible for filling one weekend shift that qualifies as overtime pay.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in aluminum furnace operations or other metals melt shop
• Working knowledge of metal chemistries, scrap handling and melt practices
• Experienced forklift driver
• Experience monitoring a complete Safety program, including training of employees
• Experience in writing shift reports for management, disciplinary forms, and performance review documentation
• Experience operating equipment and monitoring preventative maintenance programs for equipment
