Ululani's Hawaiian Shave Ice is hiring part-time and full-time time Shavistas (Baristas for shave ice) / Cashiers to Re-open and staff our newest location(not currently open) in:

West Maui, Ululani's Hawaiian Shave Ice (Banyan Tree), 626 Front Street, Lahaina, Hawaii, 96761.

What will you be doing?

• Front of the House (FOH) is responsible for everything from customer service and cashiering to supporting the shop and associates with prep and clean-up.
• Build rapport with customers.
• Display an individualized friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
• Respond to customer questions in an effective manner.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products for our customers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• No experience necessary, we offer hands on, paid training. Our dedication to having the best product available is only part of our success.
• Hourly Full Time or Part Time: Generally scheduled 32 to 40 or up to 25 hours per week, respectively; more hours may be required based on the needs of the business.
• Requires morning, afternoon and evening availability any day of the week.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
• Minimally must be able to lift 10 pounds without assistance; may lift over 10 pounds with or without assistance.
• Ability to operate POS system (iPad).
• Able to push/pull 50 lbs. of weight.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Food handlers certificate a plus.
• Follow Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice established safety, grooming, uniform, jewelry and employee handbook conduct standards.
