Job Responsibilities:
The Service Technician will serve as an integral member of the Production team with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:
Field maintenance related work with GPU’s and production units- Replacing piping, valves, and fittings
- Service and troubleshoot actuated chokes and conventional chokes
- Changing trim and seats as necessary
- Replacing choke/dump bodies as necessary
- Assist well operators troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment
- Troubleshoot issues with gas processing equipment
- Flowback Iron Installs and Sand Trap Rig In’s
- Safety Strap (restraints) installation on temporary flow lines
- Work on freshwater injection skids and repairing components as necessary
- Perform routine maintenance and trouble shoot issues involving natural gas generators
- Comply with Seneca’s EHSQ policies, standards and procedures and demonstrate active and regular involvement in EHSQ programs
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience Operating or servicing equipment
- Experience in an Oil and Gas related field is preferred
- Experience and knowledge of local, state, and the National Electric Code (NEC), NFPA 70E etc. is preferred but not required
- Valid Driver’s license (Commercial Driver’s License a plus)
- Ability to work in the field independently
- Able to lift minimum of 50lbs.
- Willing to work in all weather conditions
- Working in a SIMOP situation
- Able to work around active flowing wells
- Use of basic tools (wrenches, pipe threader, etc.)
- Problem solving skills
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of engines (oil changes, air filter replacements, etc.)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Work safely independently and in a team environment
