FANUC America Corporation (FAC) is currently searching for a Service Proposal Coordinator to coordinate the development of proposals that focus on addressing solutions and options specific to each customers needs for the Customer Service business group. The Coordinator is also responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the proposals, while identifying methods to drive down cost.

Primary responsibilities will include:
- Read and interpret customer specifications.
- Coordinate and conduct engineering review meetings with project team.
- Draft proposal documents using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Develop cost grids that define material and labor costs.
- Coordinate and conduct proposal review meetings when necessary.
- Interface with customers as required.
- Interface with FANUC America Corporation engineering personnel, purchasing personnel and material planning group as required.
- Solicit quotes from FANUC America Corporation vendors.
- Initiate strategies that lead to cost reduction and process improvements.
- Associates degree in mechanical, electrical, software, robotics, automation, or related technical field; or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum two years of relevant experience (e.g., material management, inventory control, sales, etc.); Knowledge of robot products preferred
- Proficient in office applications including MS Windows, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to master product technical knowledge (e.g. FANUC).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills (verbal and written).
