This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.

Your Responsibilities


As a Senior Vehicle Software Systems Engineer (Technical Program Mgr (Systems, Embedded SW Engineer experience) in the John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group, located in East Moline, IL, you will….


  • Coordinate software scope and milestones within Tech Stack organizations for Crop Care programs.
  • Provide technical leadership to software teams as they execute a program
  • Define the new software capabilities that need to be delivered to the market and lead the solution development efforts with stakeholders.
  • Prioritize functionality to be delivered by software teams
  • Champion issue resolution for the programs in which you are responsible

What Skills You Need


  • Significant experience working with embedded software on agriculture equipment
  • Consistent demonstrated experience coordinating and aligning organizations to a common goal
  • Technical experience relating to design/diagnostics/troubleshooting of Electrical and Software subsystems or Precision Ag technology
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and align among multiple stakeholder groups

What Makes You Stand Out


  • Experience with CAN systems and CAN tools
  • Experience developing software in embedded controllers
  • Strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles
  • A degree/certificate in Systems Engineering
  • Product test and analysis experience focused on software
  • C/C++, Matlab/Simulink experience
  • Advanced degree in engineering discipline

Education


Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:


  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or equivalent experience.
