Responsibilities:
Kearney and Company is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to join the team in Arlington, VA. The Scrum master role will focus on supporting the Product Owner, the Development team, and other key stakeholders in an Agile Scrum format. Additional duties include:
  • Helping the Scrum Team focus on creating high-value increments
  • Identifying techniques for effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management
  • Helping the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items
  • Facilitating stakeholder collaboration as requested or needed
  • Leading, training, and coaching the program in its Scrum adoption
  • Planning and advising Scrum implementations within the program
  • Helping employees and stakeholders understand and enact an empirical approach for complex work
  • Removing barriers between stakeholders and Scrum Teams
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
  • BA or BS degree
  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience
  • Current/Active Secret security clearance
  • Scrum Master certification

Preferred Qualifications
  • SAFe certification highly preferred
  • Knowledge of U.S. Federal Financial Management Knowledge of the Department of Defense
  • Knowledge of the operating climate in the Office of Undersecretary of Defense
